MGM Grand Macau Rings In $6.6M In First Two Days

According to MacauTripping.com, the MGM Grand Macau opened to a smashing success - over $6.6 million in drop in the first few days of operations. This points to a very high volume of play in that time.

MGM Grand Macau's website disappointed me. No photos, and it's a little too slow and contrived. I did take the test to see whether I qualify as a player and the result was, "I'm on my way."

This report says that the MGM Macau opening was financially weak, though they don't give any numbers.

Interesting.

I had seen another article in the South China Morning Post with the $6M number as well but I can't find it now.
