Vegas Today and Tomorrow

Posted by Hunter

We always like to let folks know about other Las Vegas sites that we're into.

Vegas Today and Tomorrow

This site shows current and upcoming construction, along with some educated guesses about stuff like Encore at Wynn and Project City Center.

Anyone interested in Las Vegas construction should be checking this site on a regular basis.

Well, other than the really egregious typos the site is ok. I'm not real big on how they bash "mid-level" joints. The phrase "tired" and "old" really gets, well, old. Look, some people like joints like the IP for good reason, and it would be nice for a little more discretion before posting.

The concept image that is shown of how Wynn Encore might look next to the existing Wynn Las Vegas is interesting. The author of the site claims it strictly his own idea (wishful thinking?). I must say that I like it quite a bit. Very artsy how Encore and Wynn LV would create a long and flowing imaginary roof line side-by-side (even though Encore will be taller), and also the idea of Encore curving in the opposite direction of the Wynn LV structure. Have their been any hints from Wynn that this may in fact be how Encore will look?

This is loosely based on information released by Wynn in SEC filings, building permits and public statements, yes.

Another great site for me to spend endless time wandering around in. I think I spent about 1 hour there and didn't even notice the time go by. I love the aerial photo overlays showing current and future projects. Thanks for the tip.

Hunter: Thanks for highlighting my site, traffic is up.

Joe: Point taken I removed the negitive comments about the IP and other properties. I also did a 72 page proof-read and found several typos...phew. Thanks for giving me the incentive. If you (or anyone else) find any other errors, contact me via the site.

cgriff: If you click on the "MORE" buttons you will find additional info and photos. This would have answered your question.

Tom: Thanks for the kudos.
