MGM Grand

Posted by detroit1051

I'm staying at MGM Grand the week of September 12 while I attend the Global Gaming Expo. I haven't been there in some time, but I chose it so I could take the monorail directly from MGM Grand to the convention center.

If anyone has any specific questions about MGM Grand, let me know, and I'll try to find answers while I'm there.

I'd like to hear feedback on the various MGM restaurants - they've really improved in that area (seemingly) over the past few years, but I have only eaten at MGM once.

Beth, I hope I have time to try some of the new restaurants. The last time I stayed at MGM Grand was the year Nob Hill opened. I want to revisit Emeril's which was always good. I believe it's been remodeled. I'd also like to try SeaBlue which has had differing reviews and also Shibuya. I read an interview with Jim Murren, who said Shibuya was his favorite MGM Mirage restaurant. Finally, Craftsteak has had excellent reviews. Maybe I should stay another week to try all the restaurants.

Hi Detroit!
Find out why they have such a poor selection of video poker there. With a casino that size, you would think they would have a better selection of games, paytables, etc. It is one of the main reasons I dislike staying there. We did enjoy the new West Wing rooms, although a bit small, very comfy bed and modern decor. Have fun!
